Canadaian Federal Skilled Worker Program



Federal Skilled Worker Program is the most popular points based immigration program available for those willing to migrate to Canada. These points are given for education, age, work experience, adaptability, and language. To qualify as an eligible candidate under the FSWP 2014, you must score 67 points and have at least 12-months full time and paid working experience in one of the 50 eligible occupations.

As of 1, May 2014, CIC has announced 50 new eligible occupations for the Federal Skilled Program 2014 and is accepting an overall cap of 25,000 applications to be processed with a sub-cap of 1000 applications for each occupation and a cap of 500 applications for the PhD stream. It’s indeed the last chance to apply as a FSW applicant before Canada launches its Express Entry Program in January 2015.

A maximum of 1,000 applications will be accepted under any one qualifying occupation. List of Eligible Occupation (listed by NOC code) mentioned below:
